Why this recipe exists
What we show in sixty minutes at the print lab. Ms Nomsa Khumalo wrote it from the Meadowdale print lab, where shops bring real peels, not moodboards. The goal is a card you can pin above the press, not a blog that sounds clever and fails on Monday.
South African DTF work mixes club crests, fashion soft hands, workwear fleets, and event drops in the same month. A recipe that ignores humidity, dry winters, or export cartons is incomplete. We keep the language concrete: shake white, photograph peels, log lots, close powder trays on the coast.
Field notes from the desk
When a shop emails ink@dtfink.co.za, we ask for garment type, peel style, and a photo. That is enough to receive a useful reply. If the art is new, we suggest a sample day with sheet film before a production roll opens. If the fleet is wash-critical, we insist on a wash card before boarding.
